This will be a Street-based category, for engine capacities up to 1500cc NA, produced in 2006 or later only. Must use original OEM powertrain (no engine swaps, original OEM gearboxes from manufacturer and for that engine). And to use original OEM intake manifold and throttle body for that powertrain.
Several engine-body type swaps will be homologated and announced, including:
– 2006 and later Toyota Vios and Toyota Vitz permitted to use either 1NZ or 2NR engine with matching OEM transmission
– 2006 and later Honda Jazz and Honda City permitted to use either L15A or L15B engine with matching OEM transmission
– 2006 and later Perodua Myvi permitted to use 3SZ-VE engine
Other body and engine mixes may be homologated for use in MSF Super Production in the future as required.
