MSF CyberTurismo 2020 Series 2 – STEWARDS SUMMARY – ST Racers Round 1

RACE 1

  1. Lap 1, Turn 3 – Incident involving #6, #81 and #11. Incident reviewed, no further action.
  2. Lap 1, Turn 13 – Incident involving #6 and #210. While #210 ghosted mid-corner, #6 attempted a pass but got bumped as #210 reappeared. Stewards comment: this is not a move that could have been made if it was real-world racing, cars do not ghost or disappear. Any incident involving a car trying to take advantage while another car is ghosting but then suddenly reappearing is the fault of the overtaking car on the basis that the responsibility to overtake cleanly is on the car making the overtaking move.
  3. Lap 3, Turn 3 – #81 dive bombed, bumping #80. Warning to #81.
  4. Lap 3, Turn 9 – Over-aggressive driving by #6 going beyond track limits then hitting #80 causing to spin off-track. 2 penalty position to #6.
  5. Lap 5, Turn 12 – Incident between #74 and #35. Reviewed, no further action.
  6. Lap 5, Turn 13 – Incident between #44 and #6. Reviewed, no further action. Stewards comment: #44 ideally should have backed-off before 2nd chicane to avoid the incident
